of she was immersed in the diversity of art and music. Growing up in a musical family that came to Australia from Sri Lanka via South Africa, Ecca was trained as a jazz musician, which had a strong influence on her. Her passion for jazz improvisation led her to fall in love with the DIY insouciance of punk. Her ability to balance effortlessly between soulful melody and raw, unabashed power has been praised of NME and Rolling Stone.

Since the release of her debut album, Ecca has spent the time continuously developing her sound and bringing her unbridled energy to the stage - touring Australia, Europe and the US alongside bands such of Queens of the Stone Age, The Prodigy, Young Fathers, Incubus and Idles. In March 2025, she will accompany LIMPBIZKIT on their European tour and will also return to Germany. She has now announced that she will play an exclusive Show show inBerlin afterwards!
