The Chats

THE CHATS are an Australian punk rock band that was founded in 2016 on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. They describe their sound as "shed rock". The current line-up consists of guitarist Josh Hardy, drummer Matt Boggis and bassist and singer Eamon Sandwith. Known for their songs about Australian culture, they first went viral in 2017 with their song "Smoko" and the accompanying music video. To date, they have released two EPs, The Chats (2016) and Get This in Ya! (2017) as well as the two studio albums High Risk Behavior (2020) and Get Fucked (2022). In November 2024, they will be coming to Germany for several Shows shows.
