Urban pop with depth - between diary, stage and playlists
If Cosima hadn't had her surname Kiby since birth, you'd have to invent it as an artist's name. The urban pop artist from Munich and Berlin is currently conquering the hearts of music lovers - without a major record label behind her - and is at the beginning of a promising career.
Born on February 19, 1998, Cosima discovered her passion for the creative arts at a young age. Before she could walk, she was sitting at the piano. Later, her piano teacher advised her mother to send Cosima to singing lessons as she had discovered a great Talent in the little girl. She was proved right: During her teenage years, Cosima performed in musicals and began writing her own songs at the age of 13. These early experiments eventually led to her current solo project: Cosima Kiby.
Cosima began her career as a solo artist in 2021 and has since released 23 singles and her debut EP "25". Since the release of the first single "bisschen zu viel" from her second EP in November 2024, her Spotify listenership has grown of 50,000 to over 110,000 monthly listeners - with repeated support in editorial playlists such as "Popland", "New Music Friday Germany" and "Deutsche Poesie" on Spotify as well as on Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music and Deezer.
"Cosima Kiby is maximally modern" - Association for Pop Culture in Bavaria.
Not just maximally modern: Her music is characterized of honesty and authenticity - the songs sound like a diary reads. She sees music as a reflection of herself and wants to show her fans that nobody has to be alone and that it is okay to show emotions and weaknesses. In a world where everything is filtered and edited, Cosima stands for more reality and authenticity.
The young artist has also greatly expanded her live presence. She has played at her first festivals and accompanied numerous established artists such as Culcha Candela, Christoph Sakwerda, Haller, Aaron, Becks, Fabian Wegerer and Hanniou on their tours. This has not only enabled her to show that she is an absolute bundle of energy on stage, but also to win over new fans.
COSIMA KIBY
In March 2027 on the “Mit anderen Augen” tour!
Cologne, September 14, 2027 – Following her acclaimed EP “gegengift” (nearly 3.5 million streams), the singer-songwriter is heading out on tour with her third EP. The new EP “müde träume” is even more honest, vulnerable, and powerful. “müde träume” is the moment of waking up—tired of conforming, tired of fighting, tired of being someone others want me to be. Yet within this weariness lies peace, clarity, and truth.
With her third EP, Cosima deconstructs old identities and expectations and transforms them into self-empowerment. Her work spans a spectrum from personal vulnerability to social issues and criticism of the music industry. She’ll showcase this diversity in March 2027 on her “Mit anderen Augen” tour. “Let go for an evening, let yourself go, and see yourself and the world through different eyes.” That’s what Cosima Kiby hopes for herself and her audience on tour. To create a safe space, a happy place with a whole new perspective—in other words, “Mit anderen Augen” (Through Different Eyes).
Tickets Tickets will be available starting Wednesday, September 16, 2026, through the CTS Eventim presale; the official presale begins on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at all authorized ticket outlets.
