For BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, The Poison was the album that took the band to unimaginable heights. In the summer of that year, the Welsh metallers opened for of Funeral For A Friend in the UK, only to return to the same venues as headliners just a few months later. After its drop in October 2005, The Poison reached number 21 in the UK album charts, landed at number seven on the "Albums Of The Year" list of KERRANG! and finally achieved gold status.
