GANG OF YOUTHS announced their Europe 2022 tour, which will take them to Germany this fall. Between October 26 and November 3, the Australians will play in Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin. With in the luggage they will their album "angel in realtime." which was released on February 25. The album is about the life and legacy of frontman Dave Le'aupepe's father, of indigenous identity, death, grief and God. But also of their adopted home, the London neighborhood of The Angel, Islington. Although "angel in realtime." is multi-layered - influences range of from American minimalism and contemporary classical to the heritage of the British alternative/indie scene, of drum 'n' bass to the most unusual elements of Britpop - it is equally rooted in Le'aupepe's Samoan heritage.
