The young twenty-something from New York released his first original song at the end of 2016, and since then his star in the online world has been rising at a rapid pace. On Spotify alone, his music has been listened to over 500 million times so far. The reason for this: a fine balance between traditional singer-songwriter sound and postmodern notebook sounds.
Bill Dess knew early on that only music could be the right career path for him. Initially, he worked as a guitarist and singer in formations between jazz, blues and pop to try out himself and his songwriting. Then, at the end of 2016, came the step into the online world as a solo artist under the artist name Two Feet. The very first song "Go Fuck Yourself" became a viral hit, garnered many millions of clicks within a few weeks and currently stands at over 240 million plays on Spotify and almost 44 million SoundCloud streams. With this, Two Feet proved right from the start that he has his very own sound between ethereal mysticism, dark blues and pressing hip-hop beats. When his first EP "First Steps" was released in 2017, people were already talking about this new artist all over the USA of . Accordingly, "Go Fuck Yourself" rose to #36 on the Billboard rock charts. The next single, "I Feel Like I'm Drowning," even made it to #13 on that chart, as well as #1 on the U.S. Alternative charts - all without a physical release.
Since the release of his third EP "A 20 Something Fuck (Part 1)" Two Feet has been conquering the whole world. And rightly so, because his style of blues, singer-songwriter sound and sometimes highly aggressive, dark beat and bass tracks epically hits the zeitgeist.
