Global superstar Burna Boy plays open air in Berlin on August 15
The new album "No Sign of Weakness" is released one month before
Burna Boy catapulted himself onto the world stage with his Afro-fusion music and is now an international icon far beyond the borders of his Nigerian homeland. His GRAMMY® Award-winning music reaches the ears and hearts of of people on every continent.
As one of the most successful African artists, the Nigerian superstar has already worked with an impressive number of of local and international stars. Most recently, he was featured on a song on the latest Coldplay album and performed on stage with the band in Dublin this summer. The list of collaborations is long: Angélique Kidjo, Justin Bieber, Sia, Sauti Sol, Jorja Smith, Youssou N'Dour, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Damien Marley, Stormzy, Sarkodie, to name but a few.
After sold-out concerts in 2023 and headlining appearances at Sommerjam Festival and Lollapalooza last year, Burna Boy is coming to Berlin for an exclusive open air in summer 2025.
As the release date of Burna Boy's new album has been postponed to July 11, 2025, the concert at the Waldbühne in Berlin - originally scheduled for July 5, 2025 - will be postponed to August 15, 2025. Tickets already purchased for the Berlin concert will remain valid for the new date on August 15, 2025.
The Show of Burna Boy planned for July 6, 2025 in SparkassenPark Mönchengladbach will also be postponed to the Summerjam Festival in Cologne on the same day (July 6, 2025).
The originally planned concert in Mönchengladbach will not take place. Tickets already purchased for the Show in Mönchengladbach remain valid and entitle the holder to admission to the Summerjam Festival on July 6, 2025 - a real upgrade for all fans.
