Carpenter Brut combines electronic music, metal, and 1980s pop culture into a dark, high-energy soundscape. Since 2015, he has been one of the defining artists of the international synthwave scene. of s inspired by John Carpenter and Dario Argento as well as of Slayer and Justice; his sound ranges from retro thrillers to glam metal and futuristic dystopias. With *Leather Temple*, he concludes the trilogy following *Leather Teeth* (2018) and *Leather Terror* (2022): a concept album that also feels like the soundtrack to an imaginary film.
