Driven by the unique interplay of Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics), RUSH took rock music into previously uncharted territory. Over the course of their career, the band has sold over 45 million albums worldwide, received seven GRAMMY® Award nominations, accumulated billions of streams, and been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. RUSH pioneered, influenced generations of musicians, and attracted one of the most passionate fan bases in music history. They stand for rock without boundaries, balancing sophisticated instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyrics, and storytelling that is revolutionary both sonically and thematically. RUSH achieved "the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones."
In 1996, the members were honored as Officers of the Order of Canada, and in 2012, they received the Canadian Governor General's Performing Arts Award. RUSH has a star on both the Canada Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
On January 7, 2020, Neil Peart passed away as a result of a brain tumor. To honor Peart and the band's legacy, Lee and Lifeson are celebrating RUSH 2026 on tour. It's an opportunity for new listeners to finally experience the music live in all its glory, and for die-hard fans to come together again.
