Joss Stone's breakthrough came in 2003 with her multi-platinum debut album "The Soul Sessions". The of acclaimed album reached number 1 in the British R&B charts and went triple platinum in the UK as well as numerous other platinum awards worldwide.

Her second album "Mind Body & Soul" (2004) went straight to the top of the British album charts, contained the top 10 hit "You Had Me" and earned her both Grammy and Brit Award nominations.

Over the course of her career, Joss Stone has won a Grammy Award and two Brit Awards, including the award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group (with John Legend and Van Hunt) and the award for Best British Female Solo Artist. With around 14 to 15 million records sold worldwide, she is one of the most successful British soul artists of the 2000s.
