Joywave

Joywave is an American indie rock band from Rochester, New York, that was founded in 2010. Their line-up consists of Daniel Armbruster, Joseph Morinelli and Paul Brenner. Their fame gained momentum through their collaboration with the electronic music project Big Data "Dangerous". With this project, they reached number 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs Charts in 2014.

Despite their success with major labels, they maintain a DIY attitude and place the highest value on creative freedom. The album was produced in their own studio in Rochester, and shows their evolution while staying true to their distinctive sound. "Permanent Pleasure" experiments with guitar and string sections and features the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra on several tracks. This fusion of of electronic and organic elements adds depth to their music, as you can hear in songs like "He's Back". In November 24, Joywave will be coming to Germany twice!
