For 20-year-old colby!, songwriting is second nature—a surefire way to transform her boundless energy and imagination into music. Raised in Texas, the artist has been intensely devoted to making music since the age of 14, together with her older brother and Berklee graduate RJ Johnson.
, she developed a fearlessly original alt-pop sound that is both liberating and captivating. Before releasing her own music, colby! expressed her creativity through abstract painting and building furniture for her dolls, among other things—also as an outlet for dealing with her severe dyslexia. She discovered her Talent catchy melodies early on and realized that her unique perception shaped her distinctive songwriting style. Her influences include Amy Winehouse and Gwen Stefani, among others. Media outlets such as Fault and Galore have named her an "Artist to Watch," and she has been featured in Atwood, Clout, Ladygunn, Ones to Watch, and others. In addition to her collaboration with nothhingspecial, colby! recently released music with Eli Wilson and is currently still on tour.

"I am just here to make you feel something" – this is the guiding principle behind nothhingspecial's music. The German-born artist (real name Chrissie) is a self-taught singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her sound combines dreamy indie, melancholic pop, and introspective songwriting.
Influenced of such as Fall Out Boy and The Neighbourhood, she began playing the piano and composing her own songs at the age of . A decisive milestone was her performance at the Reeperbahn Festival in 2022, which earned her widespread recognition and positive reviews.
