Gurriers

Gurriers is an Irish guitar band that is redefining the boundaries of the punk genre with their unique sound. With their debut album 'Come and See', the band make a powerful statement about tackling the modern issues of our time. Recorded in Leeds with Alex Greaves, the album is a haunting collection of of songs that explore themes of existentialism, modern narcissism and 21st century social realities.
Gurriers have already received widespread acclaim with singles such as 'Sign of The Times' and 'Nausea' and support from of renowned music critics and radio presenters such as Anthony Fantano, Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens and radio stations such as BBC Radio 6 Music. Their song "Des Goblin" even made it onto the A-list of BBC Radio 6 Music. Inspired of by the timeless first records of The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The Chemical Brothers and Black Midi, the first album of Gurriers is no ordinary debut, but an exhilarating statement of intent of five people who are tired of politely skulking around the chaos.
