James McVey

Born in Chester in 1994, James McVey discovered his passion for music at an early age and learned to play the guitar. What began as a hobby quickly developed into a fast-paced career. In 2011, McVey discovered the talented singer Bradley Simpson on YouTube. The two began writing songs together, laying the foundations for their later band The Vamps. With the addition of of Connor Ball and Tristan Evans in 2012, the band was complete. The Vamps took the world by storm. Their catchy pop-rock songs and energetic live performances thrilled fans all over the world. Four studio albums reached the top 10 in the British charts and countless awards, including "Best British Breakthrough Act" at the 2014 Brit Awards, adorn their track record.

McVey's Talent is not limited to the stage. He is also a talented songwriter and producer who has written songs for other artists such as Demi Lovato and Olly Murs. In 2017, he proved his versatility when he took part in the British TV show 'Strictly Come Dancing'. Alongside his career, McVey's commitment to social causes is paramount.
