The Dutch girl from Amsterdam, writes about change, the heartaches of life, the joy of being a girl and the nostalgic feelings you experience in your twenties.
At the age of 17, she moved to Berlin to develop her skills as a songwriter and singer. In Berlin she worked in studios and wrote songs for other artists. She later attended the prestigious Clive Davis Institute at NYU, where she graduated in 2023. Stevie describes herself as a classic songwriter with a twist, mixing oldies with R&B vocals, folk and rock influences.
Her debut EP received praise from of Billboard, Earmilk and The Line of Best Fit, who described her as an up-and-coming popTalent of Generation Z. As well as her own music, Stevie has written for artists such as Rei Brown, Joji, Casey Lowry, Daine, Daya, Abigail Barlow, Gayle and Daniel Leggs.
In September 2023, her song "Hahaha" went viral on the alternative pop scene. With support from of BBC Radio 1 Alternative and Abbie McCarthy's Good Karma Club, she played her first headlineShow in London, which led to support tours in the UK for Nieve Ella and in the USA with Aiden Bissett. On July 12, she performed in Hyde Park as special guest for Stevie Nicks.
