Tems is an up-and-coming Nigerian singer and songwriter from Lagos. Inspired of by a variety of of genres, including R&B, soul, and Afrobeat, she has formed a unique style that combines elements from different musical traditions. She began her musical journey in high school and first gained recognition in 2018 with "Mr Rebel". Her breakthrough came with her feature on "Essence" of Wizkid. Her unique voice and profound lyrics have made her one of the most promising voices in the African music scene.
