True crime has always held a strong fascination for people. "Mordlust - Verbrechen und ihre Hintergründe" is not only the most listened True Crime podcast in Germany, it is also the most successful female hosted podcast in this country and was awarded the German Podcast Award 2023 in the category "Audience Award Knowledge"!
The two journalists Laura Wohlers and Paulina Krasa tell in their Podcast of true criminal cases from Germany and discuss their criminal, psychological and socio-political backgrounds. In the process, the two reporters pursue exciting questions such as: When is someone considered incapable of guilt? Why do some people fall in love with serial killers? What happens in a circumstantial trial? Why do innocent people make false confessions? And how could the crime have been prevented?
