Many bands of dream of a successful career spanning four decades—but few actually reach that milestone. MESHUGGAH, however, is one of them. Since their formation in Umeå, Sweden, in 1987, these extreme metal pioneers have earned a place among the most important and influential bands in their genre through innovation, aggression, and uncompromising originality.

In 2027, the band will celebrate its 40th anniversary—an occasion that deserves to be properly honored. With “The Forty-Year Anomaly,” MESHUGGAH announces a major headlining tour across Europe and the United Kingdom that will take them to some of the biggest stages of their career. Across a total of 20 shows, the band will unleash their sonic onslaught across the entire continent. MESHUGGAH will come to Germany for five shows in October 2027. Periphery and Vildhjarta will join the tour as special guests.
